I’m José Romero, a photographer based in Los Cabos. For more than a decade, I’ve photographed people, architecture and hospitality with the same intention: preserve what is real, and tell it beautifully.
How I learned to see
Photography was never separate from the rest of my life.
My father’s love for photography and my mother’s artistic spirit shaped me early. Later came poetry, cinema and music—disciplines that still influence how I work with light, rhythm and emotion.
My background also includes cinematography and short-form film. In recent years, I’ve returned to film photography for its texture, imperfection and patience.
